(I was given 4 room instead of 5 and we have to swap the luggage in order to sleep 3 person in a room and the receptionist asked me to pay USD 10 for taxi fare from the airport although it was agreed to be inclusive by the hotel). I'm not happy but the chef is good to prepare the breakfast for us

The View 2 Hotel was just great in Hanoi. Friendly staff, clean and nice rooms (ours was even with a small balcony). I can highly recommend that place!

The View 2 Hotel was just great in Hanoi. Friendly staff, clean and nice rooms (ours was even with a small balcony). I can highly recommend that place!

I would like to say that the hotel was very nice and off the beaten path. The staff was very nice to all our requests. For the most part, a lot of them spoke English which was a plus for me since I come from America, and can only speak a little Vietnamese. Breakfast was very good but maybe a little unorganized, but that could be because of the staff being so young and inexperienced. The only complaint that we had was the room smelled of smoke so back they had to burn scented oil for us every day.
My only suggestion would be keep a few rooms open for NON-smokers.

I would like to say that the hotel was very nice and off the beaten path. The staff was very nice to all our requests. For the most part, a lot of them spoke English which was a plus for me since I come from America, and can only speak a little Vietnamese. Breakfast was very good but maybe a little unorganized, but that could be because of the staff being so young and inexperienced. Service, staff, breakfast, cleanliness, quality fittings, price, location to Old Quarter and Hanoi Railway Station and local market outside the front door (no touters), beds, showers and all facilities.
